Koreans always get nice phones and gadgets as they have many big-brand gadget makers around such as Samsung and LG etc. LG has just rolled out its new LG-LH2300 Touch Web phone for the South Koreans.
The LG web phone features a 3-inch touchscreen LCD display with 800 x 480 resolution. The display is backed by a special interface called “Hello UI”, which is best used for browsing the web.
The web phone doesn’t stop there for the web only. It’s also incorporated with other great features such as T-DMB mobile TV, Bluetooth 2.0, microSD memory, and a jog wheel for easy page scrolling. The phone is also equipped with a 3 megapixel camera that supports face recognition and anti-shake technology.
There is no info if this cellphone will be tied to a high-speed data service such as HSDPA or 3.5G. But the guess based on the front facing camera of this phone, it shouldn’t be riding on slow EDGE. Expected to launch in Korea, next month for a price of $600 US equivalent.
