Being paranoid, worried about what you have shot with your digital cam will be gone due to mistake of wrongly pressing the delete buttons on the camera? If you’re such a careless user, a digital camera that comes equipped with WiFi would be the best choice for you. As you could always take a break after several shots and hook up to any WiFi hotspot and upload to photo sharing websites as a backup.
The new Panasonic’s Lumix DMC-TZ50 is a camera that comes with 9.1 megapixel with 10x optical zoom, and 3-inch LCD. And the best part is it’s enabled with 802.11b/g WiFi. As what you can do with most WiFi cameras, the DMC-TZ50 allows you to upload your pictures from any WiFi hotspot to online photo sharing website, but it’s restricted only to certain photo sharing websites only, which in this case you can upload to Panasonic’s own Lumix Club. I think Flickr is still not in their list of supported photo sites at this moment. The camera will be available in Japan for a price around $500.
