I admit that I’m kind of forgetful guy, who always misplaces stuff around my living and working space. But I don’t think I’ll buy the idea as shown in the picture – Wearing the kind of so-called Smart Goggles invented by Japanese scientists, to record or keep a log of my daily task so I can then easily trace back where I’ve misplaced certain important stuff. Will you?
The Smart Goggles is said to use sophisticated object recognition software together with a mounted webcam to record everything that you look at. It then keeps a log of what it finds and where the object was last seen. Whenever you can’t find something, then you just have to seek through the recorded footage and you’ll be able to dig out from the footage where the object was placed.
The inconvenience that Smart Goggles brings to the wearer is it’s a pretty huge pair of goggles and some more having a webcam mounted, which will add on certain burden to your face. But for those who’re working at a workshop having full of gadgets and tools around that easily lead to misplacement, will find it useful for easily locating those misplaced items.
