Netronix’s new E-Book readers – EB-300 and EB-100

Netronix’s EB-100 small and compact e-book reader!
Here comes the latest two models of the Netronix’s E-Book readers, EB-300 and EB-100. The two E-Book readers might be good competitors to the Amazon Kindle. The EB-300 has a bigger screen of 9.7-inch e-ink display, whereas the EB-100 is equipped with only a 6-inch 800 x 600 display.

The EB-100 is designed to be friendly to your eyesight, reading it in dark doesn’t damage your eyesight. It comes with Bookmarking, Slideshow, and Zoom features. The device has a very user friendly interface which runs on Linux and having 32MB RAM built-in. And it’s pretty easy for anyone to understand and catch up with.

The device has a pretty small and compact size, which measures only 198mm(H )x 128mm(W) x 9mm(D) and has a pretty lightweight body that is easy to carry around. As mentioned the 6-inch Elink Screen has a resolution of 800×600 pixels, measures 22mm x 99mm, features 170 dpi, B&W, 4 grayscale. The permanent storage of the EB-100 is an 128MB NAND type Flash. And it’s equipped with SD card slot which allows a maximum 4GB for memory expansion. Included accessories are a USB cable, a Quick Start Guide (Manual), and a +5V/1A Switching Power Adapter.

The EB-300 which has a bigger screen of 9.7 inch, running Windows CE 5.0 as the operating system. The device measures 255 x 195 x 14 mm. The display is a touchscreen eInk of 9.7 “with a resolution of 1200 x 825 px, 170 dpi. The device has a built-in 64MB SDRAM, storage of 4GB NAND type Flash and expansion dependent on SD card for up to 2GB. It supports wireless connectivity such as Bluetooth and WiFi B and G.
