FOMA SH705iII is the latest cellphone by Sharp. The specialty of this cellphone is it’s equipped with TV tuner which is great use for tuning to digital TV available in Japan. The phone is marketed in Japan, which is tied to Japanese operator NTT Do Co Mo only. And Sharp seems to have no intention to push it outside of Japan.
Another pretty unique feature of FOMA SH705iII is its support of the bandwidth of 1.7 GHz, making it compatible with the International 3G roaming. It weighs 106g, has a dimension of 106 x 48 x 16.1 mm. The screen size is 2.8 inch, supports up to 262,000 colors.
It’s also equipped with a 3.2 MegaPixel camera with autofocus, and the 2.8 inch screen can give a resolution of 400 x 240 pixels, which is satisfactory clear with image quality. The phone also comes with an external display, which is monochromatic OLED display that has pretty small resolution of 96 x 39 pixels. This external display will be great use for a quick glance of caller ID etc.
The phone also has built-in microSD card slot for you expand it to store all your media-rich content. The phone has pretty long talk time of almost 3 hours (175 mins) and can run 2 hours in TV mode.
