Due to the great success Asus EEE UMPC, many also coming up to produce more or less similar products to test the market. One of them is the ECS, and they’ve showcased early their mini laptop at CeBIT too. One important factor in order to be as successful as the Asus EEE, the price does really matter. Asus EEE was priced under $500 and it managed to attract tons of buyers, especially from the studying group.
The ECS’s mini laptop will also be priced under $500. The mini laptop will come equipped with mobile network, 3.5G/HSDPA data connectivity, which is most suitable for those who’re always on the road to get connected always. Other features including Bluetooth, built-in webcam, three USB 2.0 ports, Ethernet and a 56Kbps modem. No information about its exact price, but we’d be expecting it’d be priced more or less same with the Asus EEE or the Acer’s UMPC.
