This is fantastic! Solar cells can be printed on paper or some other flat surfaces for absorbing sunlight to power your gadgets and even the entire home. Remember that we’ve ever talked about technology that allows solar cells mixed in paint and use it to paint your house. So the entire house can absorb solar energy and power up all the appliances and gadgets in it.
A Massuchssetts company called Konarka Technologies has announced that it’s now able to manufacture solar cells using inkjet printing. In such a case, they can produce much cheaper solar panels as the solar cells can just be printed on paper or some other cheaper materials. Or maybe print the solar cells on a belt or shirt, then it will be another wearable product that can be used to power your gadgets while you’re on the road!
