The Ravi Solar Charger is designed like a flower that absorbs energy from sunlight for powering your gadgets instead of carrying out photosynthesis to grow itself. The Ravi Solar Charger is made little lively, which its pedals glow once its internal battery is fully charged. During day time, you’ll have to get this flower-like charger exposed to the sun to absorb sun light. And bring it into your house for powering your appliances and gadgets at night.
The Ravi charger has an internal battery, which is a pretty big reservoir to store up sufficient charge for charging up to two mobile phones or iPods, after it’s been directly exposed to sunlight for more than 8 hours. The pedals contain photovoltaic arrays, which are effective suckers of solar energy.
The Ravi solar charger is a design by Leigh Ryan, a student at Monash University in Australia. It’s named after a benevolent sun god from the Hindu faith.
