Toshiba has got a 4-in-1 device which sounds pretty close to what I’ve been looking for. The Toshiba G450 is a gadget having MP3 player, flash drive, phone functions and 3.5G/EDGE/GPRS modem clammed into a small and compact body.
It’s definitely a handy device for those who’ve been traveling around. It keeps you accompanied with music, stores your data and lets you make calls along your boring journey. And you can hook up to the Internet via careers that provide HSDPA/EDGE/GPRS services. Perhaps, the keypad of the G450 will give you little confusion when you first start using it. Especially for those who’ve been using standard phone. In order to keep its size small and compact (It’s just 3.8 inches long), the G450 needs to have the kind of keypad that gives little trouble.
Besides the keypad, you’ll also find that the display is a little bit cramped for you. Although the device uses a bright OLED screen, but it has a resolution of 96×39 pixels only. The small screen resolution could be the intention to help with battery life. Last but not least, as a flash drive, having only 160MB storage capacity is definitely insufficient for heavy users. But, overall, this device should come in handy for those who don’t like the idea of bringing many gadgets along.
The G450 will be available in the UK sometime in March for a price of $300.
