Some of you might be interested in using your cellphone to control your computer from afar. The new mobile application, PCMobilzr, which has just been unveiled by Rove Mobile Inc., is an application that lets you control your PC using your mobile. It works with BlackBerry or Windows mobile phone only. You can use it to display the desktop of your computer and control the keyboard and mouse too.
I believe the application needs your mobile to have WiFi/Internet connection, which the application shall work more or less like the Remote Desktop Application on Windows. While you’re away from your office PC or on the road, and you wanna know the content of a file or document on your computer, you can just make use of your mobile to access it.
The client application can be downloaded from the computer or the mobile. But to access your computer using the PCMobilzr app, you need to use an username and password, and you need to subscribe to the service for a monthly fee of $9.50, which sounds expensive to some people.
