As told that the super thin Apple Macbook Air doesn’t come with an optical drive. For those who’ve been used to backing up your data in stack of optical discs are now urged to back up the data using Apple Time Capsule over WiFi network.
For those who’re new to Apple Time Capsule, here is a brief introduction for it. The Apple Time Capsule is a storage box that is equipped with wireless N (802.11n) technology, so you can backup your data to it wirelessly. The Apple Time Capsule comes with two versions, which are the 500GB and the 1TB storage. Able to serve multiple machines, it’s also a fully function Wi-Fi base station, so there’s no need for a separate AirPort for wireless Internet. It’ll be available in February for $299 (500Gb) or $499 (1TB).
