Alereon and SunPlusIT have teamed up, to come up with the world’s first worldwide wireless USB hard drive reference design, which is based on Alereon’s AL5000 WUSB chipset. It covers the entire spectrum used by WiMedia, which is from 3.1Ghz to 10.6Ghz, and complies with the requirements set by local authorities.
