Nowadays, children are easily lost or abducted by strangers. Especially when parents are busy on something, even though those kids are just playing at your house front yard. If you don’t keep an eye on them, perhaps the next few minutes they will go missing. Sounds little scary, right? It’s no joke. How many times that you open up a newspaper and read then the news of a child abducted hits the headlines. Thanks to advanced technology, today, we have really small gadgets, a GPS-enabled device that helps you keep track of your kids easily. Here comes the Pocketfinder, which is one that we’re talking about here and it is featured at CES 2008.
The Pocketfinder is a small personal GPS, which the purpose is to help parents keep track of their children or even someone with down syndrome. The device is only the size of an Oreo cookie, which you can use it to keep track of your valuable asset as well.
The Pocketfinder allows you to locate it at any given time, and you can also set up safe zones, which it will alert you when it goes beyond the set boundaries. It’s waterproof and virtually indestructible. It costs you around $100 plus the online service fees, which is kind of reasonable for saving a child and giving you peace of mind.
