A company called Neonode was showing off a pint sized cell phone, called N2, at CES 2008. According to them, their pint-sized cellphone has much better features than the Apple iPhone. The N2 phone is Window-based, similar to iPhone comes equipped with touch screen control. But its touch screen is based on optical touch technology, whereas iPhone’s touch screen is heat dependent which isn’t sensitive at all to hands wearing gloves. The N2 phone uses both horizontal and vertical “sweeping” geatures for navigation.
The N2 phone is smaller than a credit card and weighs only 60 grams. Unfortunately, this guys will not be available for the US until the 2nd quarter of 2008. And no info about its pricing yet and the carrier deal.
