Here comes the Apricorn’s DriveWire Universal Hard Drive Adapter that provides the convenience for you to easily hook up any SATA or PATA hard drives to your computer via USB port. For those who have couple of hard drives hanging around, and you wanna have quick access of the data. What you need to do is to connect the DriveWire universal adapter to the hard drive and hook it up to your computer’s USB port. It works similarly to the USB drive dock and the USB SATA adapter that we’ve seen before, but with special cloning function with the included software.
Besides working as an adapter only, it also comes with a special cloning software, the EZ Gig II. The cloning software lets you clone your old hard drive (e.g the internal hard drive of your laptop or desktop) to the hard drive connected to the DriveWire universal adapter.
