As I told you before many of us have accidentally dropped our cellphones into toilets. Perhaps, some of you really appreciate your cellphone so much, even though it’s dropped into the toilet bowl, you’d want to dig it out and then run it under tap water and continue to use it without letting anyone know. Yes, I mean it. If you don’t mind it’s soaked up with some shit, you’d do that. But unfortunately, the cellphone that is picked up from the toilet bowl would not be working as it’s soaked up with water as it isn’t waterproof.
But now the good news is researchers have found a saviour for your cellphone from being sacrificed in the toilets i.e. to make it waterproof. It’s just a layer of coating that is called P2i Ion-Mask coating that will turn your cellphone into a water adventurer. The Ion Mask is said to repel water and oil molecules from penetrating into the depths of the device.
A special plasma material is coated on the phone hardware which protects the device from being destroyed when dipped in water. The makers of ion mask are now talking to three phone manufacturers. This will definitely become major competitors to the Fujitsu’s waterproof f703i.
