How much does the IoDrive 640GB cost right now... its very hard to find prices on the web... only found one European site who got them, but has anyone had any experience with them yet?

http://ssdeurope.com/solid-state-drives-pciexpress-c-2_70.html

the 640GB I think is around 18000 USD...

Does anyone in the states have those to order online...? The big integrators ask a lot more than 18000...

Thanks

What's the point of their so called low price if they're only 80gb big, this is an obvious case of business suicide out of greed.

'Which is definitely much cheaper for investing in complete SAN solution and other multi-disk array storage boxes.'

Not true after your correction.

Ad says, "A 640GB flash-based version of this card will cost you for only about $2,400" But other posts say $30 / GB. That would make the 80GB verion $2400. So which is it??? Both can't be right.

Thanks for the information. I have been in talks with the guys at FusionIO. Excellent technology! As to pricing, it starts at $2400 and the smallest drive is 80 GB, so it's about $30/GB (as mentioned in their FAQ and interviews).
