Will Majic Jack allo me to call from an international location if I bring my laptop with me? What is this $5 international prepaid package package?

Can my daughter call my Majic Jack number when I am overseas. She has the same area code as my Majic Jack number.

Can I use the Majic on other computers, i.e. my desktop other than my laptop?

MAGIC JACK SUX.. not only is the customer service bad, you have to leave your computer on all the time if you dont it will corrupt magic jack and it will be a pain in the ass to set it up again. I HATE IT, i hate leaving the computer on 24/7 to use magic jack. Also magic jack will sometimes just not work. you wont get a dial tone.
also our magic jack calls dont show up unless you dial a number then hang up then it will show the last call.

i dont know its cheap but its annoying.

it is good however if your in another country, like australia, you can have someone in the usa setup the account then ship you the magic jack, you can then call usa for free. vice versa the person in usa can call australia then for free as long as there calling a person with magic jack.

How can you find a phone number for tech support if you have a glitch or need to contact them. I am changing from land line to internet only and afraid in the process if I lose my majic jack how would I get it back. If anyone has a phone, let me know.

I’m with Los for sure. We’ve had a magicJack for over two years now. We’ve had a little trouble here and there, but we absolutely love it. Tech support is great when you have a little glitch, especially since we aren’t the most tech-savvy people in the world!

This little gadget works great for me!!

For me, it works better with wired broadband connections. I have no problems with it at all… I LOVE IT! Now, I was wondering if you could use the device without a phone connected to it, ie bluetooth headset perhaps? I hate holding the phone next to my ear, id rather use a bluetooth device instead… Has anybody made it work as such?
