Guys over at The Part Foundary could have been very impatient for having to wait for Apple to come out with the next generation of iPhone that would support GPS. Finally, they decided to make a module that can be easily hooked up to iPhone to enable its GPS functionality.
The module allows iPhone to have GPS functionality. Currently it’s still under development and will be shipping in February next year. All software is open source and more and more applications are being written everyday. The GPS module gives you the ability to explore all the benefits that GPS on a platform that is small enough to put on a keychain. They already have plan for making stylish and cute plastic enclosure for this tiny iPhone GPS module.
