Bug Lab’s Linux-based modular cellphone

Bug Lab's Linux-based modular cellphone
It’s another Lego idea. Of course, it’s not new to us. This cellphone produced by Bug Lab is a cell that you can dismantle into pieces and assemble them back to a complete shape of a cellhone. So in short, it’s just like Lego. Basically, each piece will have their own individual function. Such as if you don’t need the camera, then don’t stick it on, so you’ll have a slimmer and lighter phone.

If you still remember Bug Lab, it’s a company that is working on Lego-like modular computers that are based on Linux OS. This Bug Lab cellphone is just another Linux-based modular gadget that made out of their modular concept. The cellphone will feature four modules initially, comprising of GPS, a digital video camera, a color LCD touchscreen display, and an accelerometer/motion sensor. It is said to be available by end of this year.
