Guitar geek, Ben Lewry got an old laptop chucked in one of the corners of his living space, so he decided to turn it into an animated display for his guitar. Look, as shown in the picture, now his lovely guitar is equipped with a high-tech LCD display that shows a kaleidoscope of patterns to go along with the tunes he plays on the guitar. Lewry named his new guitar LCDetar, a combination of today’s LCD technology and guitar. His prototype would inspire musical instrument manufacturers to look into the possibility of producing musical instruments that combined with various computer technologies. Besides, Ben has also recently completed a second guitar mod called the TVGuitar v2.0 which incorporates motion sensors into the case.
