Shoeboxed has embraced the power of Internet social networking and moved into social shopping. The site has been relaunched and they have introduced a new concept called “receipt flaunting”, which is a way for you to add your paper receipts onto the site and share with your friends.
The online tool at Shoeboxed allows users to organize their paper receipts. This is simply handy for shoppers, which you can easily make use of it to track how much you spend on shopping. And of course, you can share with your friends what you’ve bought and view those items that your friends have shopped and also giving feedback to each other. It’s a similar concept to using social bookmarking site such as sharing stumbled web pages among friends on StumbleUpon.
Once you’ve got a Shoeboxed account, you just need to scan your paper receipts and then send e-mail receipts to your account. You can also organize and beautify your receipt listing nicely such as adding pictures to those items and share them with Shoeboxed’s community of shoppers. It’s simply a handy online tool for shoppers so you don’t have to folk out extra bucks to buy software to help keep track of how much you spend for shopping a month.

Thanks for your post. Just add in any e-mail or paper receipt, and we’ll take care of all the organization. Then you can take the items from your receipts and share them with our community. A great tool for anyone who needs to be organized or loves to shop!
