No more rumors: Sony Ericsson’s W890i, W380i and K660i are finally here!

Sony Ericsson's three phones are here!The rumor of Google Phone has finally given you a big dissapointment, but fortunately, Sony Ericsson didn’t follow the foot steps. Rumors said that Sony Ericsson would release three phones on Nov, 16. Now, it’s no more rumor, they all have come true.

Lets have a quick look for the confirmed details of these three phones. First is the W890i, the successor to the W880; the extra-thin (0.39-inch) bar phone upgrades the camera to 3.2 megapixels. It’s the first phone in the W800 series that supports HSPA access for 3G-grade downloads on European networks. It also comes with a 2GB Memory Stick Micro card out of the box and improved keypad layout. Will be made available in early 2008.

The second phone, K660i, a mid-range Internet centric phone, which the emphasis is on its web browser. It has two modes of Internet browsing, which is either landscape or portrait view. And also equipped with a directional pad that will turn into a virtual mouse in web browsing mode. It supports HSPA on European networks and trims costs with a 2-megapixel camera. Shipped bundled with Google Maps and a 256MB memory card and will also be available in early 2008.

The third phone, W380i, a budget walkman clamshell with a squarish appearance and semi-hiden music control that lets you skip tracks without opening the clamshell. It’s equipped with 1.3 -megapixel camera and 512MB of Memory Stick Micro storage supply photography and media storage respectively. It supports quad-band GSM and EDGE only and NO 3G. And will also be made available early next year, at the same time as the K660i and W890i. There is also an Americas-specific version, W380a.
