Steampunk PC is not alone, here comes the laptop counterpart, a streampunk laptop that brings you the old world feel. The steampunk laptop is a fully functional HP ZT1000 laptop computer that runs both Windows XP and Ubuntu Linux as the operating systems. It’s encased in a handcrafted wooden case and boast of an engraved brass work. It’s the design of Datamancer. More pictures after the jump!
The steampunk laptop has a unique way of powering up i.e. it comes with a key, which you need to plug it into the keyhole and then wind it up, similar to the retro clock winding mechanism.
It features an elaborate display of clockworks under glass, engraved brass accents, claw feet, an antiqued copper keyboard and mouse, leather wrist pads, and customized wireless network card. Other than all this, perhaps, steampunk laptop should consider a better cooling system for better or consistent performance i.e to follow the foot steps of its PC counterpart,to have a water-cooling system!
