I always thought a product that the name starts with the alphabet “i” would have something to do with the Internet or iPod. But, the iShoes are not something that can be hooked up to your iPod or let you surf the net. It’s only a pair of motorized roller skates that has pretty impressive top speed i.e. it could reach a top speed of 15 mph.
The iShoes come with hand controller, equipped with large wheels to ensure you the stability while you’re traveling at high speed on it. The iShoes weighs 8 pounds each and runs on electric batteries. The batteries can let you travel up to 5-7 mile range before running dry. Video and more info after the jump!
Currently, these roller skates are still in its early prototype, and not sure about when it’s ready for market. Anyway, they have plan only to make it available for sizes of 8-12 for men and 7-10 for women. You’ll have no luck for getting a pair to try on, if you have giant freak feet. But, do bear in mind that safety measure must be taken whenever you have plan for a ride on these high-speed roller skates. Try on those non-motrorized versions first before you’re heading for the top speed on iShoes.
