USB Disk Dock simpler and neater to hook up external hard drives!
The USB Disk Dock works similarly to an iPod dock. But this is for you to plug your SATA hard drive into instead of for iPod. This definitely comes in handy for geeks, as you know, we’ll have couple of hard drives scattered around at our work place.

And occasionally, we’ll need to hook up these hard drives to our computers just to retrieve some data or some porn clips. Without this handy dock, you’ll need to deal with the hassle of unscrewing and opening up your PC case. Or the alternative is to get an enclosure to let your hard drive sit in it or use the USB to SATA adapter to hook up to your PC. But, I found all these wouldn’t be as simple and neat as the USB Disk Dock.

The USB Disk Dock can accommodate both 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch disks. Just plug the hard drive you wanna access into its top and hook the dock up to your computer’s USB port, using a USB cable. Then you’ll have an external hard drive sitting neatly on your work desk. Get a USB hub and you could have a bank of hard drives. But too bad it works with SATA hard drive only as I still have a couple of EIDE hard drives chucked in my drawer.
