Here comes a cool tip for the Biology teachers. Instead of those boring dissection classes that simply to cut apart some mice or roaches. Why not add some fun and combine it with little eletronics and mechanics to turn a dissected mouse into a real computer mouse? The little DIY tip that can spice up your class and make it more lively and geeky. More tips and pics for you after the jump!
“Obtain a small travel-size (hardware) mouse. This one is a wired mouse that is way to small to use comfortably every day, but perfect for going inside of a mouse. Obtain a similarly-sized (wetware) mouse. These are commonly available fresh or frozen from pet stores, or any other place that sells reptile food. It’s easier to fit a small object into a large mouse than a large object into a small mouse, so err on the side of caution. You can always fill extra space with cotton balls. If you’ve got an optical (hardware) mouse, make sure to choose a pale-furred (wetware) mouse for lightest skin pigment – this will be important later”

That was dead mouse used by Instructables guys to make a computer mouse. Whether it’s actually a real mouse or just a soft toy made to look so real like a real mouse is a big question here

Ohhhh man it’s fking cool. It’s soso fking cool, man. I have made one like this ( in my case mouse wasn’t real mouse and it was much much bigger one ), but I have putted click butons into place of his EYES.

I’ve seen and heard so many types of computer mouse…but this is definitely one of the weirdest! Would be a great idea to have a cute soft toy computer mouse though…

I can hardly see how it’s cruel or inhumane, the Mouse was most likely already deceased when he acquired it, as he stated, dead mice are easily available as pet food.
However, it’s an awesome and slightly disturbing example of a practical Pun.

A deceased mouse is probably more of a green solution to mouse casing than the plastic variety.
