The impression that I get from OCZ is all about the super fast speed of the computer components that they produce. We’ve seen the fastest RAM ever in couple of months ago. And now, they have another pretty fast flash drive, it is the OCZ ATV Turbo flash drive, which EverythingUSB claims that it performs both read and write much faster than any other flash drives.
The ATV turbo drive is water and shock resistant, which was tested to stand shocks pretty well. And also, its water proof seems to be quite promising as running the drive through the washer and dryer, even though with its cap come off in the washer and dryer, the drive still found working without any problem. The little short of this flash drive is its cap can easily slip off, which could make it less ideal for certain conditions. According to CustomPC, OCZ claims that the ATV turbo drive uses ‘the latest and highest performing chips to reach transfer speeds not previously seen from any other flash drive’. But, you need the appropriate Southbridge to achieve the top speed, which the recommended is computer with NVIDIA 680i mainboard.
