Do yo agree that Japan’s cellphones are the most advanced in the world? Perhaps, the consumers in Japan have much fussier requirements than any other parts of the world, that is how it pushes the phone manufacturers to produce more appealing features in cells.
Lets look at what the latest development is in cellphone technology in Japan. It’s the show of Sony Ericsson, which they have recently produced a phone model, specially made for the Japanese service provider, NTT DoCoMo. The phone is called DoCoMo SO703i and the main uniqueness of this phone is it smells really good – it’s a scented phone. Of course, besides smelling good, there are lots of great features with this phone. Will be presented to you after the jump.

The standard features of DoCoMo SO703i are those commonly found on most other late-models of Japanese cellphones, such as GPS, TV and music player functions. And the phone is available in your choice of 9 attractive colors and patterns, which are Romantic Gold, Exotic, Twilight, Flow and Gorgeous etc, as shown in the picture above.

Besides the handful choices of styles, its smell also comes with variety of choices. The scents are actually released from a replaceble strip located near the central hinge. And the fragance is guaranteed to last for at least 3 months. And you can simply replace the old scent strip with a new one, when fragrance is gone or you’ve got fed up with it and wanna try a different flavor. Anyway, this kind of scented cellphone, I think it’s more suitable for girls. Unless, your work environment or people surrounding you simply stinks, then carrying this phone perhaps will help cover up the bad smell that almost fills up your nostrils.

[...] This cybershot phone boasts a 2.7″ Wide VGA 480×864 px 262K color display. And it supports GSM/WCDMA networks, comes with media player, memory card and all other functions that can be found on high end 3G phones. It measures at 113 × 50 × 20 mm and weights 150g. But unfortunately, Sony is only releasing this phone for Japan’s service provider, NTT DoCoMo, which will be part of NTT DoCoMo 905 i series line-up that is to be announced on Nov 1st. Again, another evidence shows that all cool phones will go to Japan first! [...]
