Here comes an interesting interactive cube game called levelHead, which is the great product of a New Zealander, Julian Oliver. It’s made up of a few faily simple technolgies. It’s loaded with software that detects cube’s motion and equipped with couple of digital cameras for displaying appropriate images according to your tilting actions on it. More info and video after the jump.
The idea of the game is you to guide the way out of a lost little cube man in the cubetastic world. Just a little tilt guides the cube man in the corresponding direction. The objective is to guide the poor little man to the exit of the virtual world where it’s in. This cube is not limited to one only. The creator will later produce more cubes with different virtual worlds within, which all can be joined together to form a really complex virtual world. Sounds familiar? Yeah, it’s definitely similar to the CubeWorld that we’ve seen before. Anyway, Julian has a plan to release it under open source project, perhaps doing so allows others to modify the software loaded on it to have more fun.
