Perhaps if you wanna save some space in your little apartment, some furiniture or appliances in our 3D world can be turned into something that fit well for the 2D world but still maintaining their original functionalities. Sounds pretty abstract? Lets look at the Flat Life concept here, then you’d know what I mean. More info after the jump.
Flat Life is the design by designer Finn Magee. Currently, the line consists of two products only, which are Flat Light and Flat Time. Flat Light is actually a table lamp, has been converted into a lamp printed on a poster that you can hang on the wall. And it still maintains its own functionality as a lamp that can shine your way through, courtesy of a single LED as its light source. Similarly the Flat Time is a radio alarm alarm clock, which is now printed on the poster, where there is a 7-segment LED clock embedded into the image. Of course, the two still come with power plugs that you need to plug into wall sockets to power them up.
