Nowadays, there are WiFi hotspots everywhere, we will always need much handier device to detect the availability of these hotspot areas or the strength of WiFi signals in the city that you live. We’ve seen a couple of WiFi detectors before, including a DIY solution and some ready products. But none of them is as convenient as this, which is only a T-shirt that is to be worn by you and it tells the WiFi strength right away on your chest.
The WiFi detector shirt from ThinkGeek carries some glowing bars on the front. These bars will change dynamically when the surrounding WiFi signal fluctuates. This definitely makes you the WiFi god, which your friends will be envious of you so much for your extraordinary power.
The T-shirt takes three AAA batteries for its power. But, no worry these batteries are nicely concealed in a hidden pocket, which doesn’t add any weirdness to the shirt. This T-shirt is only capable of detecting 802.11b or 802.11g signal.
