Soya oil makes lamp grow slowly to make more fun

Soya oil makes lamp grow slowly to make more fun
Perhaps you do know that soya oil can be found in many commercial food products from salad dressing to baked goods. But, do you know that the soya oil can also add some fun to some lighting fixtures. Here comes a pretty unique lamp that depends on the soya oil to make it grow gradually in order to be more interesting. The lamp is called Slow Grow Soya Oil Lamp.

The Slow Grow Lamp is a shape of a giant light bulb, filled with saturated soya oil and a light bulb is immersed in the soya oil. When the lamp is turned on, the oil will heat up, liquify and become translucent, allowing the light inside to keep getting brighter. When it’s turned off, the soya oil solidifies again.

The Slow Grow Lamp is asking for a pretty expensive price of US$675.00. But I feel like it’s quite easy to build one by yourself. Just need to find a light bulb, a container that is big enough to hold the light bulb in it and fill up the container with soya oil, then you could have your own version of Slow Grow Lamp.

Buy online, Gnr8.biz, $675
