Sony has just announced its new VAIO type G Notebook. Other than the sleek design and its computing power has been very much improved from the previous version, from Core Solo U1400 1.2Ghz to Core Duo U7600 1.2Ghz, what is more worth mentioning here is it comes with a special keyboard that is coffee-proof. Yes, coffee-proof or tea-proof, whatever you wanna say about it, its keyboard is well protected from being spoiled by liquid. This is especially good for clumsy geeks, who always spill your coffee or tea over your computers’ keyboards.
Sony has equipped this notebook with good drainage system, where underneath of it are the draining holes that easily drain your coffee away. This VAIO notebook will turn itself off immediately when it gets to taste of coffee. Other than the keyboard, its LCD also comes with coating that can stand scratches from 5H pencils, which is kind of good for geeks who like to keep long fingernails. The entire notebook is highly tolerable to drop too, which it won’t get busted even you drop it from a height of 72cm when power on or 90cm when power is off
This new Sony VAIO type G notebook will start selling in Japan in October, and asking for a price to start at $1,500. If you’re the kind of clumsy geek, it’s hight recommended you get this for longer-term use
