For gamers and computer geeks, I think it’s not too late yet to book your ticket and fly over to Japan to attend the most hilarious event for you, the 2007 Tokyo Game show. This game show is made up of exhibitors from 51 countries and a total of 1,708 booths eagerly showing off their software, hardware and games with over 700 titles.

The show takes place at the huge Makuhari Messe complex in Japan’s Chiba prefecture just east of Tokyo and they’re running for 4 days only, which is from September 20th to 23rd. Over the booths, you can have your “hands on” testing with all the games, software and hardware. Of course, such a big event you won’t miss those big manufacturers such as Sony, which they have their new PlayStation Portables ready for you to go for a test drive.

What else? Of course, dozens of pretty booth girls all dressed up in cute cosplay clothing to accompany you with more fun along the test drives. Some of your eagerly awaited games, updates and upgrades such as the rumble-enabled PS3 controllers from Sony, Metal Gear Solid 4 and Burnout Paradise designed with rumble support, are all available for you to grab at this hilarious event

The event asks for an entrance fee as little as $10.50 only and they’re expecting about 180,000 to attend it this year. This is definitely the heaven for gamers and computer geeks, where you can test all the big names in gadgets and gaming industries such as Sony Computer Entertainment Inc, Microsoft Corp., and even smaller players such as Namco, Konami and Sega etc.

[...] Yoga is simply good for both mentally and physically, to keep you fit and healthy. It’s the best for geeks or gamers to have some Yoga practice, to reduce the accumulated stress picked up from staying too long in front of the computer or game console. But, I think it’s kinda hard to push geeks or gamers to take some break to go for some Yoga sessions. A Japanese game company, KONAMI has realized the fact and developed the game titled ‘Yoga in anywhere’ and it was shown during the 2007 Tokyo Game Show. [...]

Finally, the Sonic the Hedgehog cartoon that aired on ABC in 1993-1994 (known as “Sonic SatAM” to the fans) comes to DVD in its entirety. Many of those who managed to catch the show on TV well over 10 years ago fell in love with it then, and have been fans ever since. It had just the right blend of comedy, drama, and action, with no one of those standing out too much above the others. It was also a fairly dark show for its time. This is a much anticipated release in the Sonic fan community, and this DVD set contains all 26 episodes, collecting the complete series in one 4-disc set!
This cartoon was made back before the SegaSonic storyline really got developed, and you won’t be seeing familiar faces like Knuckles, Amy Rose, or the more recent characters from Sonic Adventure 2, Shadow and Rouge, simply because, well, none of them existed back then (Sonic 3, which was Knuckles’ first game, didn’t even come out until the year after it started airing). But that doesn’t detract from the show at all as there are plenty of well developed characters added here that weren’t from the games. This cartoon set-up the first real storyline behind the whole Sonic universe (in the U.S. anyway), and in my opinion, was one of the best American made cartoons ever. The Archie series of Sonic the Hedgehog comics was loosely based on this cartoon, but really failed to capture the quality of writing used to produce this show. (Archie has since moved on to try to emulate the games more).
Despite the age of this show, if you’re a Sonic fan, you definitely shouldn’t pass this one up. Definitely the best Sonic cartoon ever produced, in my opinion, as well as one of the greatest cartoons of all time. I’d give it more than 5 stars, but well.. that’s the most you can give here on Amazon.com
