Intel showcased a pretty interesting device at IDF Fall 07. The device is a uniquely designed portable PC that also works as a cellphone. Since it’s a cell phone by Intel, definitely you’ll call it Intel Phone, which in short is iPhone. Does it carry an iPhone look as well? This phone looks like an elongated version of iPhone, which its screen displays information in the horizontal manner instead of vertical. The horizontal display is due to the need for wider screen since it needs to show you lots of stuff on its screen.
This phone is powered by Intel’s Moorestown platform (a 45nm processor), which is a processor that comes with integrated graphics, video, and memory controllers, all to be packed into a single efficient chip. The battery life can last up to 24 hours on a single charge, which is definitely impressive to me as it’s a device that carries so many functions, which is supposed to be very juice hungry. A little inconvenience while carrying this phone is the body is simply too long that makes half of it sticking out when it’s in your pocket.
