Here is a special bottle, which is claimed to be able to turn dirty or foul smelling water into drinkable in just few seconds. The special bottle is the creation by an Ipswitch-based business man, Michael Pritchard, who realized that water is so important for those disaster-hit regions that fresh water supply is a major problem.
The business man has got the entire 1,000 stock of his “life saver” bottles sold out during his presentation at the DESI defence show in London. The bottle is asking for a reasonable price of £190.
This bottle is definitely loved by military, especially because of its efficiency of being able to convert 4,000 to 6,000 litres of dirty water into drinkable without changing filter.
Soldiers at the battlefield have to suffer from drinking iodine-flavoured water, but with this life-saver bottle , they can enjoy fresh water again.
Mr Pritchard got his idea of building such a life saver bottle after watching coverage of the tsunami in south-east asia region in December 2004 and he was so amazed that refugees had to wait for days to get fresh water.
