Say no for the implant of RFID chip, as it may cause tumors!
We’ve learned that RFID chips are somehow pretty handy and have been extensively used in quite a number of work environments. Such as the farmers use it for tracking their herds, employers use in in their employees’ badges and a couple of medical uses such as tracking patients or used together with surgical sponges to avoid mistakes of leaving sponges accidentally inside the patients’ bodies during operations.

Although RFID is handy and has got the approval from FDA back in 2005, but it seems like there have been couple of findings that RFID caused tumors on animals back in mid of 90s. Some researchers have found these happened especially with some experiments carried out on rats and mice. But, some cancer specialists reviewed that the findings of animal test results do not necessarily apply to humans. And the RFID is getting more extensive use, which the industry is talking about implanting it into human body. Whether you like it or not, there are now about 2,000 of the so-called radio frequency identification, or RFID, devices have been implanted in humans worldwide, according to VeriChip Corp. VeriChip Corp is the company that produces the implantable tiny chip and they claim it’s so safe to have one in you.

Anyway, if you’re asked if you wanna have one implanted in you or for your family members, then I recommend that you say “NO”, if you have a choice. To me, this thing sounds a bit scary and unacceptable. Once you get implanted, doesn’t it mean you’d be traceable everywhere you go? Furthermore, you could be at risk since the tiny chips in you transmitting radio wave that could possibly cause cancers.
