In the computer world, the bug story seems to be more on the destructive side instead of the constructive. Whenever we talk about bug in computer, it’s always the kind of software or firmware bug that makes your computer crash. So, you’d probably say no once you’ve heard of the word “bug” again here.
But this bug is simply different from the destructive software bug that you’re used to. This little bug when clipped on your laptop or monitor can simply turn it into a digital TV. Yes, it’s actually an insect-shaped TV tuner that is called Doori. It doubles up as a USB storage device that comes with DVR software for recording over-the-air broadcasts. Anyway, we are all out of luck for using this bug as it receives only DMB format, which is the digital standard used in Korea but not anywhere else. Good for those who live in Korea.
