It seems like there is another breakthrough for the technology of washing machine? We’ve learned that the Haier WasH20 washing machine that doesn’t need any detergent to get your clothes sparkling clean. But now, there seems to be another washing unit that is more solid, which lets you save both water and detergent. It’s waterless. Yes, it cleans your clothes by air only. It makes use of negative ions, compressed air and deodorants to clean your clothes.
Now, you can start imagining how much benefit that this waterless washing unit could bring to you. Other than saving water and expensive detergent, you can save electricity too as it doesn’t wet up your clothes and you don’t have to spend extra on electricity bill for clothe dryer. The waterless washing unit is called Airwash, which is currently still a prototype that has won it the third Design Lab Award from Electrolux and the designers are the students from Singapore.
