$100,000 cash offered to freely release iPhone unlocking software!

August 28th, 2007 by ketyung

$100,000 cash offered to freely release iPhone unlocking software!I think there have been couple of attempts by hackers trying to unlock the iPhone, to get it out of the AT&T boundary. Some even offer the iPhone unlocking software but for a price, which this could lead to some legal issue to be fired by AT&T/Apple.

Now, a cash amount of $100,000 offered by source unknown seeking for those who got iPhone unlocking software, to freely distribute it over the Internet just like what the open source community is doing, to get out from any legality issue. The intention behind is they desperately wanna get iPhone totally free from AT&T, so it can be used just like a normal cellphone. The Jesus phone is simply too good with its features, but it’s simply a waste if the phone is being locked for use with AT&T only.

There is no detail about the financial backing or how payments will be made for the offering. It leaves only a single email for you to contact for further details if you’re interested in doing so. If you’re any of those who got the unlocking software then go ahead to make some bucks here. They also proposed that you release the unlocking software on Wednesday night, 12am, but no time zone specified. Read the page on blogspot about the offer here. How I wish I could have developed such an iPhone unlocking software!
