The Japanese is thinking of taking a big challenge. They’re looking forward to constructing the world’s tallest building that will eventually be taller than their highest mountain, the Mount Fuji! I’m not too sure why there is a need for such a super high rise building in Japan. Isn’t it Japan quite vulnerable to earthquake that can easily bring this tallest guy down from heaven? Perhaps, they wanna stand as high as possible above the ground, so they could easily communicate with the aliens and talk to the stars or they just wanna fight for the world’s tallest building title.
Anyway, lets look at how great this building is. It’s a mountain-shaped building that features 13,123 feet high, which would be taller than the Mount Fuji by 700 feet. It carries a pretty futuristic name, X-Seed 4000 and is intended to house up to one million residents on as many as 800 floors.
Of course, lots of issues in designs need to be considered such as temperature and pressure issues between the top most floor and the base. And they’re also looking into possibility of using solar energy to power up the entire building. This super massive stuff is definitely not cheap, perhaps it will cost in between $300 and $900 billion.
About its location? They seem to have plan to locate it nearby Mount Fuji. Doesn’t it sound like making it to purposely overshadow the sacred Mount Fuji? The project is currently only envisioned by the Japanese company, Taisei Construction. Whether it will come true or not still remains as a big question. But, who knows?

sure , im quite happy with this structure cuz its base for sure its gonna be stable and rigid enough to sustain the top pressure cuz it a mountain shape and its near mountain where there are hardrocks for pillars.it will beat the dubai’s and also the tallest dubai , i dont trust its thin top structure. may be they didnt consider global warming .but this one of japan it gonna survive .

I think that’s great building……..
maybe all of the Japans citizens stay in these building, but how about the temperature of the top floor? Hmm, we’ll see!!!!!!!

This is an amazing project but it’s as Mikojo said, isn’t it : there’s no need for such a building especially in Tokyo which is so overpopulated a 1 million people housing giant building is not gonna do much good. Plus it will require massive material import as Japan is getting extremely short on everything. I think this project’s purpose is more to reassure people about the ask from politicians for a growing population. It’s like : OK, it’s obvious Japan is overpopulated, we are so many most of you have to live in box-like-houses with your parents, children and grand-children and are all thinking of birth-control BUT LOOK ! We can pack you in artificial mountains !

Probably the most terribly written article I’ve ever read. Makes me extremely doubtful of the legitimacy of the project.

I was really surprised to see the project of planning to build a giant building in Japan. It gonna be the greatest building in the world, i am sure! I am definite that Japan will make it up proudly to show the world. I am waiting to see the real shape eagerly…
