Some researchers from Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits in Germany, have found a way to let your body heat to be used to power your cellphone. Our body consistently produces heat, which currently all goes wasted, dissipating into thin air. The researchers have developed some kind of circuits that can convert the body heat into useful energy to power your cellphone.
I think, eventually it will be some kind of circuit equipped with heat sensors on your cellphone or gadget, which can absorb your body heat to power up gadgets. Meaning battery-less cell phones or gadgets would be possible in the future. Perhaps, it would need you to have some exercise, or to run up and down the stair to generate more heat, in the case of your body isn’t a productive heat factory. Doesn’t it sound better than having to run around desperately looking for power outlet during emergency?
