SolidAlliance has got a new USB gadget to show us. This time it’s no more those not-so-useful food-shaped gadgets anymore. It’s a USB powered remote control car. You’d probably be curious about how a USB powered gadget can be remotely controlled? Are we talking about wireless USB here? No, it’s not anything to do with wireless USB.

The RC car comes with a base or garage, which is to be connected to your computer’s USB port. The garage is the one that acts as a transmitter and charge base for the car. Unfortunately, this RC car doesn’t come with any square remote control that you’re used to with other RC toys. To control it all depends on your computer’s QWERTY arrow keys. When the car needs to be recharged, you have to return it to the garage. It takes only 10 minutes for the charging. Impressive is the garage door will pop open for the car to have a quick getaway. The car can’t go too far from the garage, which it must be within a 1 meter radius of the garage. So, it’s meant only for killing boredom at your work desk. This RC car will be available in Japan in first week of September and asks for a price of $30 only. Here is a nice video clip of the car in action!
