I’m not too sure if the design of this gadget, Jabra BT8030 was influenced by the movie “Transformer“. Anyway, it’s one kind that is transformable. The transformation doesn’t go too far. It doesn’t transform from a headset into a Optimus Prime robot. It’s transformable from a headset into a speaker only.
The Jabra BT8030 can act as a Bluetooth headset while you’re on the move. You can also transform it into a set of laptop speaker and tele-conferencing speaker phone. When it’s in the form of a Bluetooth headset, it allows you to do two things simultaneously, which are listening to your tunes and also being able to answer incoming mobile calls. All this thanks to the Bluetooth technology that allows you to be connected to both your music player and your cell phone simultaneously. If a call comes through when you’re listening to music, it’s smart enough to pause your music track to let you answer the call. The gadget boasts 32 hours of talk time, 26 hours of speaker time, and 600 hours of standby. Just pay US$235, then it’s all yours.
