Samsung seems to be pretty aggressive in integrating new applications into cellphones. I really appreciate their work. We’ve learned before couple of new patents from Samsung, such as the cellphone’s antenna as USB charger, or the cellphone itself is flexible enough to be a joystick for game. And what’s more? Samsung, this time is absolutely worth a praise, it’s filing a patent for an application that works on your cell phone that allows you to monitor your wife’s or your GF’s fertility.
So, the future Samsung cellphone will come loaded with a fertility monitor that is able to measure a woman’s basal body temperature and distance to her eardrum to determine when she is most fertile. The change of woman’s body temperature is kinda precise for determining when the menstruation and ovulation period is. This is kinda cool, especially good for married couples, who have been working hard for getting a child but having no clue when the right time is for a lucky strike. And also good for couples who have got no plan for baby but always careless on birth control, which a miss would cause a new baby to be born. So, be sure to get your GF a Samsung mobile loaded with this fertility monitor and call her before whenever you’re thinking of “getting it on” with her, to capture her fertility data.
The patent app makes use of a laser or ultrasonic technology to measure the distance to the eardrum and an infrared sensor to measure the basal body temperature. These measurements will be captured and processed by the software installed on the cellphone for tracking the user’s menstruation and fertility cycle.
