In those old days that your great grand father and mother lived, there were no such gadget called alarm clock. You’d be wondering how those earlier generations of people managed to get up from bed so early in order not to be late for work. They all relied on the sun. When the sun was climbing up the hill from the east, the sunlight will gradually reach their bed side. That’s the natural alarm clock that used to wake them up from bed.
I guess those older generations should have had fresher and healthier days than us – the modern folks who always get woken up by alarm clock that either produces an annoying “ding” sound or simply the one that shakes your bed!
With the advent of technology, we should look into something that makes use of technology to wake us up naturally as what the sun rise can do (Well, don’t expect the sun rise can get you up from bed, as you’re being surrounded by all those high-rise buildings!). The Sunrise Serenade is the alarm clock that makes use of simulated sunrise to gently wake you up. This gadget appears like a miniature sun, which produces faked sun light that will gradually fill up your room to fool your body. Anyway, it’s kinda pricey, costs around $150.
