If you’re the kind of artistic guy who likes to interpret complex patterns, then the Tix LED clock is simply a great gadget for you. But don’t blame anyone, if you’re late for work as you failed to interpret the patterns of this clock correctly.
Anyway, reading its time is simple. The four separate fields are simply the four digits for a digital clock. The value of each digit is simply made up of the number of illuminated squares in each field. So, the time in the picture shows 12:34. Get it?
The clock will not repeat to light up the same squares to display same value of digit. Its patterns simply keep changing, which is possible for thousands of patterns for a day. And it also comes with mode that you can set it to update its patterns every second, so you’ll get a constantly evolving change of patterns. For those involved in design work, watching the changing LED patterns could be useful, for some inspiration and new ideas.
