An umbrella that can do weather forecast for you? Is there a need? If you carry an umbrella out, which means you’ve seen a cloudy sky on top and you’re more or less expecting that the rain is coming soon.
Anyway, lets look at how this umbrella tells you if it’s gonna rain or not. It’s equipped with couple of LEDs lights, which flash as the warning sign to tell the rain is coming. The faster these LEDS flash, the higher chance of the rain. The handle of this umbrella comes with little high-tech stuff, where there is a little wireless radio receiver built-in. This wireless receiver is receiving weather data for 150 U.S locations from Accuweather.com. And it’s powered by one single C battery only.
What I can think of its usefulness is when you’re carrying this umbrella around, you can always stay ahead to open it up to shield you from being attacked by any single rain drop, as soon as just before the rain starts pouring. Too bad, it predicts rains for the US only.
