Biometic solution isn’t something new, but now the Japanese has made it cheap and can be deployed to any cell phones. It’s in the form of software application, developed by OKI, Japan, dubbed as Iris Authentication Middleware, which allows your cellphone to recognize your iris. In order to unlock your cell phone, you have to watch it closely and let it scan your iris to identify that it’s you. It works only on cellphone that comes with at least 1 megapixel camera. Scanning your iris is via the camera on your cellphone for unlocking it. Of course, you have to pre-register your eye with the software before using it.
